Technology During the Pandemic

As we all know, technology has a big and important area in our lives. In old times, we usually used more notebooks, which are made of paper, and pens. Nowadays, these materials are not used as much as before. Especially, we started to use phones, tablets and computers in our work and school life during pandemic conditions. People who have not used technological devices before must use the devices because they cannot find a different way to continue their work or education life. During the pandemic, people learned how to use office programs and how to make an online meeting or presentation.

While the pandemic was changing human life, technological innovations had to keep up with this situation. Most computer parts manufacturers or desktop computer manufacturers are now also starting to produce laptops, all-in-one computers in which computer parts are integrated into the monitor or tablets. Also, these products have good quality cameras, noise filtering microphones and Dolby Digital speakers. According to the statistics of manufacturers such as MSI, Lenovo and Monster, they state that the most laptop sales in history took place during the pandemic period. The reason for this situation, home office workers and students want to use portable and mobile computers. In addition to these effects of the pandemic on technology, working conditions have changed for employers, bosses, teachers and students. They usually use some applications named Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams etc. and in this way, employers, managers and bosses do not have to pay rent for the workplace because staff are already connecting their works. All private, public schools and universities do not have to pay for exams and many other things because students take their exams online, and they study on their computers as PDF to their books. Most people think that the working style will continue after the pandemic. That is because people have gotten used to this lifestyle.
